POWER TO A TEE
Eddie Zammit knows the power of t-shirts. At interview time, his T-world is curating a collaboration with DC Comics and Mambo; bringing the youth brand REBEL8 to Australia; and finishing a “300-page, hardcover look at the future of t-shirt graphics”. So we’re pretty stoked when the tee culture expert agrees to discuss the classic apparel’s influence in politics, corruption, charity, death and beyond.
In the latest issue we asked Zammit to pull examples from his wardrobe depicting corruption, death and politics. In this blog post we included a few of examples straight from our mag. Read on for the origin and explanation of each tee, in Zammit’s own words. You can read the entire feature in the latest 4th issue - Death, Corruption & Politics available now online and at your local news agent!
